Noel: “We met at Chas’ on the 16th to watch ourselves on TV, It was just as nerve wracking watching it as doing it. Jimi and I had never seen ourselves on telly before. Chas was well used to it, but we were his baby and this show could make or break us. It certainly went down well enough to pack the Chislehurst Caves gig. Chas was so jumpy about carrying our fee that when a guy suddenly appeared to say he’d liked the gig, Chas thought he was a robber and flattened him with a punch.”
