Neville: โ€œWoke Hugh up at 9:30 had breakfast got ... set off about 10:30. Drove across Cincinatti through INDIANA. Stopped off at INDIANA had a look โ€˜round went into a couple of music shops... then carried on up to CHICAGO arrived...very tired. Had a big hassle to get organ... finally got a couple of guys to helpโ€

Jimi: โ€œS.O.Sโ€

Noel: โ€œIt was really a drag when our second gig in Chicago fails to come off due to electrical trouble after we have already come all the way from Cincinnati. But Cynthia and Pam of the Plaster casters fill the gap nicely.โ€

Neville: โ€œHad a lot of trouble with amps, buzzing terrible. Finally Jimi stormed off without even doing one number. Jimi went on stage after the Soft Machine but the amps buzzed so badly he walked off and refused to play, so the rest of the gig was cancelled.โ€
