๐ŸŸ 1967.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience played the first of what would be over 240 gigs in this year when they appeared at the Bromel Club, Bromley Court Hotel located in Bromley, Kent, England (Many of the concerts were two shows per night).

Noel: “Long, hour-and-a-quarter set.”

Richard Green (Record Mirror): “Do you rely on the sex angle for your onstage impact?”
Jimi: “No, not really. I guess there is some sex, but i don’t plan anything. I just do what i feel at the time. We don’t work things out though: we just let them happen. I remember when i got my first guitar, after one month i wanted to join a band. I remember when i got out of the paratroopers and played down south, on the west coast, and then in Washington, we had guys ten years ago in the States playing what groups are playing here now, only now they call it psychedelic!’

๐ŸŸ 1968.
Concert at Gรถteborg, Lorensbergs Cirkus, Sweden, JHE.
Two shows (45 minutes each).

๐ŸŸ 1969.
London, BBC TV Centre, ‘A Happening For Lulu’, JHE

Noel: “We were booked for the Lulu show, which was so straight it was only natural that we would try to combat that atmosphere by having a smoke in our dressing room. In our haste, the lump of hash got away and slipped down the sink drainpipe. Panic! We just couldn’t do this show straight - Lulu didn’t approve of smoking!
I found a maintenance man and begged tools from him with the story of a lost ring. He was too helpful, offering to dismantle the drain for us. It took ages to dissuade him, but we succeeded in our task and had a great smoke.
