1967.
♻️️ The Jimi Hendrix Experience perform “Hey Joe” at Lime Grove Studios in Shepherd’s Bush for the BBC’s Top Of The Pops show. The performance included Hendrix singing over an instrumental backing track to meet regulations of the British Musicians’ Union. London W12, BBC Lime Grove Studios, Lime Grove - Interview for unknown paper; TV rehearsals and tele-recording for the 'Top Of The Pops' edition of 19 January. The JHE started with rehearsals at 17.00 and later that evening they recorded a live version of "Hey Joe" (3:55 or 3:20). TOTP chart position for "Hey Joe": 13. The Experience were introduced by DJ Alan Freeman. JHE fee: £78.75. The JHE occupied dressing room number 59. No known recording or film survives, or even any known photographs from this session!

♻️️ The Jimi Hendrix Experience perform at 7 1/2 Club ending their three-night engagement at the popular nightspot. Concert 60 minutes. Jimi is interviewed by David Frost.

♻️️ Milton Keynes, Marshall Amplification, Lyon Road, Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, UK Neville Chesters (JHE road manager): “Went off to Marshall’s at Bletchley, took all amps and speakers for checking… Stayed at Marshall’s til about 5:30. Got all gear fixed.”
