Although a small basement club it was part of the โ€˜bread-&-butterโ€™ circuit that many well known R&B/ โ€˜rockโ€™ acts of the day played. Noel was probably using Chasโ€™ 4-string Gibson EB2 bass. Concert (50 minutes). Songs: unknown

๐Ÿก The Experience returns to Olympic Studios to record โ€œAll Along The Watchtower,โ€ which features Dave Mason (Traffic) on 12-string acoustic guitar and Brian Jones (Rolling Stones) on percussion. The session started with Jones contributing on piano, but these recordings were not released.
Studio recordings (from 17.00 to 21.00).

The track was released in the US as a single in 1968, peaking at No 20.

Interestingly in 1941 the Free French Forces commanding general in the Western desert (โ€œLeclercโ€) made this the focus of his rallying speech: โ€œSwear that you will not lay down your arms, until our flag flies once again over the cathedral of Strasbourg.โ€
