๐ŸŒน Jimi Hendrix attends a party at the Apple offices on Saville Row, where he is interviewed for the London Herald. The party is held to celebrate Appleโ€™s signing of The Grapefruit. Members of the Beatles, Brian Jones and Kathy Etchingham also attend.

๐ŸŒน After a 2:30 tune-up Jimi tears into the intro of "Come On (pt.1)". This version features some blistering guitar playing. After "Fire" Jimi dedicates "I Don't Live Today" to the American Indian. The intro of "Hey Joe" draws a big cheer from the audience. A fairly compact (less than 5 minutes) version of "Stone Free" shows up later in the set. Jimi thanks the crowd for showing up prior to "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)". This spirited version includes a few teases of "Cat's Squirrel" toward the end. This is an average sounding audience recording.

1970.
๐ŸŒน Returning to the Record Plant Hendrix begins experimenting with different backward guitar effects. This session also saw additional work on โ€œBurning Desireโ€ but with little noticeable advancement on finalizing a basic track.
