🍎 1967.
↪ The Experience perform at the 7 1/2 Club, which marks the club’s opening night of performances. Concert - opening night of this small, but up-market, club. 1st in a short ‘showcase' residency - (60 minutes) at 01:00. Noel was probably using Chas’ four-string Gibson EB2 bass.

Marianne Faithful: "I saw Jimi at the Seven and a Half Club because Mick (Jagger) told me about him. He said he had seen Jimi in New York and it took his breath away. He was very awkward. He sang with his back to the stage or into his guitar and mumbled so badly. I sat in this tiny basement club for hours and watched him play. A Tantric vision in fashionable crushed velvet pants and ruffled shirt. He hadn't gotten his persona together - he wasn't yet the Voodoo Chile, you could see he was painfully shy. Once he began playing, he transformed. The music was sexually charged and direct. I had the feeling he was playing just for me. The place was completely empty that it was probably true. I'm such a fool. I should have hung around and seduced him but typically, I ran away".

🍎 1968.
Jimi and Gerry Stickells stay at the Esso Motor Hotel, Göteborg. Jimi reports at the ‘Report Room’ of the Gothenburg police station at 14.00 hours.

🍎 1969.
Rheinhalle Dusseldorf, Germany. 

Two Shows with Eire Apparent at 17:00 and 20:00

Support: Eire Apparent. 

Audience: 1st show ~ 1,000. 2nd show - 2,000 (sold out). 

2nd show attended by Monika Dannemann and her younger brother Klaus. Accommodation: The Park Hotel, Koenigs-Allee, Düsseldorf. At the Park Hotel, Jimi meets Monika Daneman, with whom he will spend his final hours.

🍎 1970.
Jimi and recording engineer Eddie Kramer began the task of deciding which songs to include on the new album “Band of Gypsys” (Cox and Miles did not participate in the process). 

Early on, Jimi chose to include the Buddy Miles songs "Changes" and "We Gotta Live Together".
