According to Larry Magid, the talent booker at the Electric Factory, Jimi played on a dark stage with fluorescent flowers painted on his face, and his hands -
"All you could see was his face, and his hands moving across the guitar. It was amazing."
A mysterious artist known as ‘Strange’ produced one of the most fantastic psychedelic images for a poster advertising the show. The multi color image features a silhouette of the band made up of extremely detailed tiny images that combine to produce an outstanding visual- even from the notably colorful era. Scott Mussell.
