Jimi Hendrix Experience performs a unique show at 8 pm with the support of Noel Redding's band (Fat Mattress) at the Philadelphia Spectrum. More than 14,000 people attend this performance.
Songs: Fire ✨ Red House ✨ Foxy Lady ✨ I Do not Live Today ✨ Ships Passing Through The Night ✨ Guitar Solo ✨ Jam with unknown bass and drums ✨ Jam with Mitch and Noel ✨ Jam with percussion ✨ Bass Jam ✨ Sunshine Of Your Love ✨ Jam with Larry Young and Buddy Miles. One night filled with jams. The evening ended with a jazz training session with Buddy Miles and organist Larry Young. Part of this jam was later released on release in 1980, on the album Nine To The Universe, but has since been deleted from the catalog.
