Instrumental performance: Izabella. (Leslie (guitar), Jimi (bass), Tim Davis (drums) In the box, Over The Top, there is a picture of Jimi and Leslie West playing together. Leslie West: “We were crowded at the Ungano Club on 71st Street [in Manhattan] Jimi came one night late, I greeted him, and asked him if he wanted to play with me, he said yes, but he did not have his equipment. So we went up to his limousine to go back to my loft on 36th Street and we got the material. I remember my road manager sleeping in a deep sleep when I woke him up.
He nearly ... We took some amps, carried them into the limo and then we went back to the club to jam together.”
