Mixes for Voodoo Child (Slight Return), House Burning Down, and Voodoo Chile were made at this session.
The mix for Voodoo Chile created at this session was used on Electric Ladyland. Focus then shifted onto a Noel tune called Walking Through The Garden with Jimi on bass, Mitch on drums, Noel on guitar, a unnamed pianist, and Chris Wood on flute. Mixes were then made for this track.

💥 1969.
Jimi returned to Toronto, Ontario where he appeared in court before Judge Fred Hayes. Hayes ordered Hendrix to return for a preliminary hearing for possession of narcotics on June 19. Photos of Jimi walking to the courthouse were later featured on the cover of Rolling Stone’s May 31, 1969 issue.

🚥🚗 Gone to Rock ‘n’ Roll Heaven: Reverend Gary Davis, also Blind Gary Davis, (30 Apr 1896 - 5 May 1972).
He was a blues and gospel singer and guitarist, who was also proficient on the banjo, guitar and harmonica. His fingerpicking guitar style influenced many other artists. His students include Stefan Grossman, David Bromberg, Steve Katz, Roy Book Binder, Larry Johnson, Nick Katzman, Dave Van Ronk, Rory Block, Ernie Hawkins, Larry Campbell, Bob Weir, Woody Mann, and Tom Winslow. He influenced Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, Wizz Jones, Jorma Kaukonen, Keb' Mo', Ollabelle, Resurrection Band, and John Sebastian (of the Lovin' Spoonful).
